Should I Visit?
When/Where Will You Meet?
Should I Visit?
When/Where Will You Meet?

...God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:5

Should I visit In the Light Church?

definitely, If...

Don't worry about...

Don't worry about...

... you are

1) following Jesus,

and/or

2) you are open to the idea that you don't have everything

figured out yet

Don't worry about...

Don't worry about...

Don't worry about...

... not fitting in by being

less experienced in church settings.

Our purpose is growing in the Truth.

As such, the goal is not appearing "churchy", looking like you know what you're doing, or giving the impression of knowledge.

Encouragements

Don't worry about...

Encouragements

  • Visit a few times and if this church is the best place for you to grow, keep coming

  • Please bear with what we lack as we get started together.  What we will have will be wonderful if God is in it.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God

 Matthew 5:8

Come Join April 27th

When and Where

  • 10:30am, Third Sunday of the Month (usually)
  • At the Plymouth Community Center, Room 127 (address below)
  • We will not have childcare in the short-term.  We'll take a family approach, welcome all ages, and graciously allow for occasional child-based distractions.

14800 34th Avenue North, Plymouth, Minnesota 55447, United States

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again."

John 3:3

We Believe

  • God created the heavens and the earth, and man (and so to live optimally, we must do so in alignment with how we're designed)

  • Sin entered the world through man, and now we live in a fallen world (which explains all of the bad in it: illness, hate, selfishness, war, death, etc.)

  • God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to save us from Sin (Sin being everything wrong with us, individually, and as mankind)

  • The Atonement, Jesus's sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection enables us to be reconciled to God – that we may be the righteousness of God in Jesus

  • One must be born from above to see the Kingdom of God (and until then neither Jesus nor the Bible will be understandable)

  • God wants all to be saved, but some will be condemned for choosing darkness over light (and not because they didn't follow some administrative process or simply didn't go to church enough)

  • Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead.  Until then His Church should exist to do His will (and for no other purpose, whether or not ostensibly beneficial, expedient, or attractive)

COME TO ME, ALL YOU WHO ARE WEARY AND BURDENED, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU AND LEARN FROM ME, FOR I AM GENTLE AND HUMBLE IN HEART, AND YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. FOR MY YOKE IS EASY AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT

Matthew 11:28-30
